With the AURA FIELDS project, Emilio Ferro studies the phenomenon of the auric field, the magnetic and impalpable emanation generated by etheric forces that manifests itself in the most elementary crystals as well as in living organisms and planets.

 

Every body that has an electric charge generates a magnetic field, as described by Maxwell's laws of electromagnetism.  The artist, through the representation of subtle bodies, also known as auras, highlights how in nature not everything that exists is visible to the naked eye but is nevertheless intrinsically connected to and influenced by the presence of these energetic entities.

 

Through his interpretation of auric bodies, Ferro invites us to reflect on the fact that everything in the universe is, after all, energy. This vision opens the door to a deeper understanding of reality, highlighting our interdependence with the world around us and the complexity of the invisible forces at work in nature.

​The conceptual paintings in AURA FIELDS constitute the embryonic phase of the project, providing a glimpse into Emilio Ferro's creative process. 

They are anticipatory paintings that show what the artist plans to accomplish in the future. These works represent the first step toward the creation of installations that will explore the auric field in detail.

The artist invites us to imagine the visual and conceptual impact that AURA FIELDS could have on our perception of energy and the universe itself.
